Bengal Govt elevates IPS Ajay Mukund Ranade to DGP (Law and Order)
The Rajasthan High Court premises were evacuated on Tuesday following a bomb threat. Registrar of the High Court received an email threatening a bomb blast in the court, following which the police were informed. According to information, a team from ATS and the dog squad reached the court.
This is the fourth such threat sent to the High Court in the last 40 days. The High Court first received a bomb threat email on October 31. Similar emails were received again on December 5 and December 8. Each time, the entire court complex had to be evacuated.
The continuous receipt of fake threats has raised serious questions about the court’s security system. Lawyers, staff, and the general public are increasingly worried about such incidents. Repeated threats are disrupting judicial proceedings and delaying hearings.
